Always wear a hard hat and safety shoes. When operating or maintaining machine, wear safety glasses, face shield, gloves, earplugs, and seat belt if the job requires it.
Before use, check that all protective devices are functioning properly. Do not take chances, so as not to increase unnecessary danger.
2. Get on and off the machine correctly
When getting on and off the machine, always face the machine and use the handrails and steps marked with arrows in the figure below.
Keep three points (two feet and one hand or two hands and one foot) in contact with handrails and steps (including track shoes) to ensure that you support yourself.
3. Start the machine safely
Check the engine coolant level, fuel and oil levels before starting the engine. Check the air filter for clogging. Verify that the safety lock lever is in the locked position.
4. Make sure that no one is above, below, and around the machine, and honk the horn as a start-up warning.
Start the engine strictly according to the operating instructions in the operation and maintenance manual to avoid machine damage or casualties caused by wrong operation.
