On June 30, the world's first cross-sea cluster project integrating "bridges, islands, tunnels, and underwater interchanges" - the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel - was officially opened for trial operation. So far, the two major urban agglomerations of "Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou" and "Zhu-Zhong-Jiang" on the east and west sides of the Pearl River Estuary have achieved direct cross-sea connection, and the "half-hour living circle" of Shenzhen and Zhongshan and the "one-hour living circle" of the Greater Bay Area have become a reality.
For the offshore bridge and tunnel construction scenario, SHANTUI's specially developed offshore platform concrete mixing station has become an essential tool for project concrete production. As early as 2018, SHANTUI's multiple E3R-090, E3R-120, and E3R-180 offshore platform concrete mixing stations have successively participated in the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, providing high-quality concrete for the construction of bridges in the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel.
To facilitate offshore operations, SHANTUI concrete station is also specially equipped with a foundation-free large-volume steel structure three-dimensional aggregate silo, which can meet the maximum amount required for continuous pouring of concrete at one time; the special structure of the aggregate silo movable silo cover is configured to effectively prevent rainwater from entering the silo and ensure the accuracy of material proportioning; the coarse and fine weighing device is configured for all material measurement to further ensure the measurement accuracy of more than 99%, and realize the traceability of aggregate flow throughout the process.
In order to ensure the rigor of construction, SHANTUI offshore platform concrete mixing station integrates the functions of raw material temperature display, online monitoring of sand moisture content, powder and admixture inventory, and concrete temperature collection, providing guarantee for various data collection and monitoring on site.
