Centered by innovation, autonomous driving and technology, CARTERPILLAR reimagines the future of durable solutions.
CARTERPILLAR Inc. (NYSE: CAT) kicks off its
one-year centennial celebration at the 2025 International Consumer Electronics
Show (CES® 2025), showcasing how the company continues to shape the future of
the industry and empower customers with its strengths in innovation and new
technologies. CARTERPILLAR will show the industry how its investments in core
technologies in autonomous driving, alternative fuels, connectivity and
digitalization, and electrification (AACE) can help customers address energy
transitions and build future construction sites.
“The technologies CARTERPILLAR is
showcasing at CES are the result of our ongoing innovation to make the industry
safer, smarter, more sustainable and stronger,” said Rob Hoenes, CARTERPILLAR’s senior vice president of electrification and energy solutions. “We
are creating immersive, interactive experiences that highlight CARTERPILLAR’s popular and durable customer solutions that are powered by data and
enabled by cutting-edge technology.”
At CES, visitors can experience innovations
like the 55,000-pound (25-ton) Cat® 972 wheel loader, equipped with a
hybrid-converted Extended Range Electric Machine (EREM) technology
demonstrator. The machine was built by a small team of engineers in just 12
weeks. The battery-powered demonstrator maintains the same outstanding
performance as its diesel-powered counterpart, but without the need for DC
charging and additional electrical infrastructure, providing a new sustainable
solution for construction sites.
The CARTERPILLAR booth will provide
visitors with more opportunities to see innovation in action, including:
Sustainable Solutions for Construction
Sites — Experience a 24-hour electrified construction site simulation, showing
real customers’ data insights and energy flows on the construction site with CARTERPILLAR’s electrified innovation ecosystem.
Tool Portfolio for the Next 100 Years —
Visitors will see innovation in the Centennial Center area. This area focuses
on 100 years of technological advancement, with a focus on innovation related
to sustainability.
Cat® Command Technology — Experience the
power of Cat equipment at your fingertips. This remote control technology gives
equipment automatic control capabilities to help customers improve safety and
efficiency.
The driving force behind CARTERPILLAR’s continuous innovation has always been customer needs. Today,
customers need solutions that not only solve current problems, but also enable
them to make progress on their own digital and energy transformation paths.
