On September 4, 2025, the 3rd Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition (CICEE) Southeast Asia Edition opened at the Setia City Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Zhang Yingchun inaugurated the exhibition, Executive Vice Governor of Hunan Province.

The three-day event covers 6,000 square meters, gathering over 90 leading global enterprises. With the theme “High-end, Intelligent, Green—New Generation of Construction Machinery, Mining Equipment, Emergency Equipment, and Engineering Vehicles,” it highlights the latest advances in intelligent and eco-friendly equipment, aiming to build a new hub for China–Malaysia and China–ASEAN cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

As a pioneer of “Made in Hunan,” SANY brought 9 star products to the show, including excavators, dump trucks, motor graders, heavy-duty trucks, cranes, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, and scissor lifts. The comprehensive lineup showcased SANY’s strength in intelligent and green manufacturing, attracting wide attention from international buyers.

At the opening ceremony, Xiang Wenbo, Secretary of the CPC SANY Group Committee, Rotating Chairman, and Chairman of SANY Heavy Industry, delivered a keynote speech. He described the Southeast Asia exhibition as a “Golden Bridge” connecting Chinese smart manufacturing with ASEAN markets. He emphasized that China and Malaysia are entering a new “Golden 50 Years,” and SANY will contribute with more efficient equipment, lower-carbon solutions, and deeper local partnerships to support Malaysia in becoming a new hub for global advanced manufacturing.

During the signing ceremony, SANY International Development (Malaysia) Co., Ltd. reached multiple procurement agreements with key customers, covering machinery, spare parts, intelligent solutions, and supporting services. These deals further demonstrated SANY’s strong competitiveness and recognition in the high-end equipment sector.

The CICEE Southeast Asia Edition has now been held for three consecutive years. This year’s event is not only a key step in expanding the CICEE brand globally but also an important practice for Hunan Province in advancing the Belt and Road Initiative and building a “Manufacturing Going Global Demonstration Zone.” By combining exhibitions with industry collaboration, it accelerates the synergy between China’s intelligent equipment and ASEAN market demand, injecting new momentum into China–Malaysia and wider RCEP regional cooperation.
