The 2026 Yellow Table and T50 rankings for global construction machinery manufacturers were released in May 2026, revealing a significant shift in the industry landscape.

Total sales of the top 50 manufacturers reached $246.53 billion, with China placing 13 companies on the list. Chinese enterprises generated combined sales of $48.86 billion, capturing 20.4% of the global market share—ranking third behind the United States ($64.04 billion) and Japan ($50.56 billion).

SANY Heavy Industry ranked 6th globally in the Yellow Table with $12.58 billion in revenue, maintaining its position from the previous year. The company holds the title of China's No. 1 concrete machinery brand and has led domestic excavator sales for 15 consecutive years.

ZOOMLION rose two spots to 11th place with $6.81 billion in revenue. LIUGONG secured a top-20 position with $4.72 billion.

The T50 ranking showed a different order: XCMG ranked 3rd with $14.37 billion, while SANY took 4th with $12.72 billion. This marks the first time two Chinese manufacturers simultaneously held top-five positions in the T50 ranking, signaling the continued eastward shift of the global construction equipment industry.

The data underscores the growing global presence of Chinese construction machinery manufacturers. Industry analysts suggest that, compared to the globalization paths of established Japanese and European brands, Chinese manufacturers still have substantial room for market share expansion overseas.
